Thanks for doing this! I like all the crowd comments and applause. Just to be clear on landing the tail wheel does not have to clear the line. On take off it is whatever wheel is last to leave. There was a lot of impressive flying and not just in the Bush class.

Hey Eric
Great video. I enjoyed meeting ya last week and checking out your 170. Great plane.
Hopefully I get to do it again next year.

If you want to go up, pull back on the controls. If you want to go down, pull back farther.

I sure wish I could have gone, I just didn't have enough vacation. Hopefully next year the weather will be as good. Maybe a few of us lower 48ers can do the RV thing.

It all looks good, "from a distance".

Great video. Thanks!
I'm very impressed with the C-172 pilots. They did great. I was surprised by how poor the performance was on the 182 with the Wren/katmai conversion. It got smoked by everything else on the video.

I finally got a chance to watch it start to finish - great video Eric!
And amazing piloting by all the guys in the competition! It's cool to see how many different techniques were employed pretty successfully.
It kind of seems like it doesn't matter as much what you do but instead how well you do it.

Great video - only 182 I saw was the Wren - there were bound to be some old straight tail 182 there competing . 172's were impressive - cubs with there light with there light wing loading were very good. Wish they would have all competing aircraft loaded to there Gross weight to make it more accurate as to what is seen in what we would see .
