2011 BCP Apparel available 6/29/2011

Store will go active after the fly-in.

It is not online yet, but it's the preferred way for you guys to make a secure order and payment. I'm a busy guy lately with life and day job, so I'm shooting for launch after I return from Idaho. The printer had a snafu with the basic logo T's so that might add another 2-week delay... I'll shoot pics of everything when I get back. Some of these shirts look awesome.

In-person cash or in-person check is fine. I will only accept checks from people I know personally, or meet face-to-face.

The fly-in specific shirts will be available only at JC, then maybe after if there are any left.

I appreciate the support and am stoked to have everyone once again flying our colors.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel

I would take a long and short sleeve shirt and a hat for payment for waiting for backcountrypilot.org 2.0! But I am broke so don't get me one for pay.

PS I might settle for a hat for the payment. maybe......

Black or a dark muted green would be cool.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel

So my question is: color? The new logo looks best on a dark color. Is anyone opposed to black? Dark navy?

How about a cub yellow? I prefer blue over black if these are the only suitable colors.

I got the sticker for the RAF. Its sticky on the back. Some decals go on the inside of a window. They look pretty cool on a back window of a pickup and are out of the weather. What about these?

Zane - drop the hoodie, but a sweatshirt would be great.

Zane, you could perform the hat button surgery and charge a premium for the buttonless hats.

The plastic incert in the button take about 10 seconds. The metal incert takes abot a full minute.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel

Black works. I like the olive green that was on the last ones too. Darker tan for the hats. When will final products be viewable? And how and when can we lay claim to them?

Hey, I know that I'm in a serious minority, but if there is a chance to do any children sizes, I'll take a 4T and a 2T. Although I only can vote once, I'll be buying for at least two, possibly 3 if the hats will go down small enough to fit Adam.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel

IMO a black t-shirt is a bit of a contradiction. I want to represent the BCP brand when it's hot out and I'm flying, but a black shirt is way too hot to wear in the cockpit. How about a run of light colored shirts with the BCP logo just like you have in the thread here? That logo with the black background would indeed look great on a Cub yellow shirt as Oxbush said. There is nothing more timeless then a really quality hoody. I order tons of this kind of schwag for the camp that I run, and both kids and parents love a really quality Champion hoody. They have a long life, I see folks from our camp wearing hoody's they bought over 10 years ago, which of course is great advertising for your brand.

Ya'll will get what ya get. :) Dark green's been done already. Some of you alums will remember.
Anyway, keep answering poll so I can get a feel for the ratio of items. Will announce availability when they're ready. Yikes.

Good show of NO DIVERSITY! Your more conservative all the time. I was worried you might get rainbow shirts with a peace sign. :D

Zane:

The Olive Green from last time was good. Lighter color to wear on hot summer day and the logo shows up pretty well too IMO.

Re: 2011 BCP Apparel

I'm definitely looking fwd to putting a BCP sticker on the RR. Should be the first plane in SE Asia to have a BCP sticker!

ps. I like the logo colors as shown in the opening post, but I'll be happy for anything :D
