8.5 x 6.00 on a tripacer

Have you modified your aircraft? STC? STOL Kit? Major rebuild from just a data plate?

8.5 x 6.00 on a tripacer

I'm thinking about putting 8's or 8.5's on the mains of my tripe. Does anyone have experience with this mod? How did it work out?

Someone has a 337 for it...it's in the short wing piper club, I believe. Might save you some time if you track them down.

I put 8.50's in mine. You still have that little wheel in front that is a bugger in the loose stuff.

@akavidflyer,

Got any pics? The front gear is fairly rugged though and, unlike the mains, you can keep the weight off the front in the loose stuff to a degree.
