I own one and it works. The older systems showed all the freqs so you could see a bad Cyl, or something else out of balance that may be causing a vibration. This one just shows the prop and you can remove that freq.

Cheaper and easier to use than this one, Honeywell Chadwick Helmuth 8500 C Plus Balancer/Analyzer.

I have owned and used mine for several years and I highly recommend it. I have balanced Rotax, Subaru, Continental, Lycoming, Walter turbine, Pratt & Whitney and Garrett turbines with 2 blades to 5 blades.

This type of instrument is pretty much a necessity when working with helicopters....
I don't know about this particular unit, but they DO work....

With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).
