On our way home we visited Pittsburg and wished we'd brought our dogs and shotguns. McCall was minus 5...but sunny. Didn't see anyone else in the Canyon, must of been ahead of the fisherman. Next time head over this way and we'll visit in Hell's Canyon.

I casted a few times and then wrapped things up about 3:00pm and hightailed it back to Orofino. Got back about 3:45pm and the shadows were so dark in the Orofino canyon that it was difficult to see the grass landing area. Beautiful weather but very short days. Let me know if you would like to meet in the canyon. It is my winter haunt and I even plan to camp a few times and hike around the area.
