$25 Paint Job

One gallon of latex and a paint roller. How much did you spend on your last paint job? Not bad from 20 feet, but don't get any closer.

Sweet! =D> I'm thinking about doing the same thing to my 172, except in white. Latex is supposed to stick to aluminum really well, without the need for special primers. I was thinking about spraying it on. How smooth of a finish did you get with the roller?

My fuse and tail feathers is latex I sprayed out of a harbor freight spray gun. I thinned it with floetrol and water. The previous coating was aerothane that had chipped away in spots. It's light, sticks to anything,'and UV built in. I wouldn't do it on bare fabric bit it works great as a temp cover over another system.
