We will be leaving OGD around 1300 tomorrow, Friday. We had planned on earlier, but Dee has a school meeting for Adam she has to attend. So, we will be in for a bumpy ride down I am sure. Plan on going to Caveman, unload, then up to Mack.

Fly safe everyone.

I'll see you all tomorrow!

Planning on a 0930 departure.. I think the weather enroute will determine if we spend the day at Mack or Caveman (either way, we'll go to Mack for the BBQ)... More bumpy = less fun flying so if it's bumpy then we'll just keep the load and hang out at Mack then go to Caveman after the BBQ..

Regardless of the wind, we'll have a GREAT time!

Fly safe everyone! Canyons and wind make for some scary shiznit!

Please keep an eye on my SPOT link -->> (my wife watches it, but the more the merrier)

I probably won't leave Spanish fork until noon. Plan to fly direct caveman, drop stuff off/set up camp then head over to Mack for dinner.

I'm calling my flight - >25kts winds aloft forecast and visible rotors out my window means I don't cross the divide. I'm sure I"m being a wuss because it looks perfect otherwise, but forecast winds west of the divide and 30 knot headwinds are more than this greenhorn wants to experience solo. Now I can bring my mountain bike and get some riding in.

I'm leaving in my truck - see you guys at Mack.

Last night while enjoying the sunset on my porch looking down river towards caveman, I was treated to a hot rod plane coming out of the canyon.. Beer in hand I failed to catch what plane, but a Cessna of sorts.

Sweet!

That's too bad...things have quieted down a lot. The prognosis is also improving for the next day or so, but then gets breezy again on Sunday...

Have fun. There's too much concrete and rebar to get ready for the new NC mill in the shop to head west this weekend #-o

Had a mechanical issue while departing Garrison this morning. Managed to get some assistance via the local sheriff and the FBO at KELY. Think we have it troubleshot to an overspeeding prop, and loose/torn landing gear fairing. :-(

Obviously not going to make it tonight...tomorow maybe.

Glad everyone is ok. Had a plate of BBQ for you in Mack.

Great to see so many people at Mack.

Saw the ohio bushplanes contingent at the Moab airport today. Greg S and Bob Breeden were enroute to Valdez for the little short field competition.. Great meeting them.

I've been lurking in the background on this thread, but fully intended to attend this weekend. My trim system froze earlier in the week--which we have discovered is the result of the A&P installing the trim system wrong 10 years ago when they did the STC to upgrade it. Nothing time and money won't fix, but I'm a scratch for the weekend. :(

I had been looking forward to meeting many of you in person, but that will have to wait until another fly in. Having joined the ranks of those who couldn't make it due to weather, schedules, etc., add my name to the list of people living vicariously though your current posts and future videos about how much fun you're having this weekend. :|

Fly safe, and have a great time for all of us who couldn't make it. =D>

Wind/Sandblast too much for me. Although the cave and breakfast was awesome, ultimately we decided to go home today. I look forward to hearing about who wins the poker run tonight!

Great BBQ at Mack, some of the best, if not the best fly-in food I've ever had!

Whoohoo!
