Watching the space shuttle go off is a life changing moment... Serious HP involved

Friday was Key West adventure. 280 miles from Stuart
Key Largo


Then the wx got nasty


Ate at Cowboy Bills while the wx did it's thing.


Hit the bed a 12AM Saurday

Up at 4:30 AM Saturday drive 280 miles back to Stuart to meet maulekid and fly.

Damn... coming out of the final 9 minute hold the launch was scrubbed due to low clouds... it was running real smooth too. Rob. I hope you get to see it go off before you leave Fla. and lets hope for good weather for the 500.. Are you going to the twin 150's ?

I used to live about 5 miles down the road from there at a place called Shang-ri-la Harbour which on the opposite shore from Indian Island. Watched the shuttle launch once while I was having my coffee up on deck. Wow! That thing goes a lot faster than it seems to on the televisor!
